I love this place, definitely the best hibachi in LA/IE my family and I eat here at least once a week! The only con is the wait but if you order ahead you'll be just fine!
Food trucks are righteous, brother... RIGHTEOUS! And I'd been eyeballing this one for quite some time,so... LETS GO! Right outta the gate, I was a little stunned by the prices. $30 is the median - OUCH! So this one might be a one and done. I went, uhm... cheap and got the $19 salmon plate with fried rice and grilled veggies. Hoooo boy - that was good, I mean... GOOD! It's not fast food so be prepared to wait as the chef cooks your food to order. Go here!
It's embarrassing how often I eat here at the Long Beach truck. People don't get how amazing this is because they're applying that archaic ideology and thinking "roach coach" which this IS NOT. and if loving this truck Is wrong well then I don't want to be right. So after having a lackluster time in my recent visit to L.A. back in September, I wanted some good food. I kept seeing this line at a Hibachi truck and on my last night in L.A., I figured let me see what this is about. I was pleasantly surprised at how good Benihibachi was being I had never had Hibachi food from a truck before but they definitely outdid themselves. I ordered the steak and shrimp with rice and it was A-MAZ-ING! Probably the best thing about my 4 day trip in L.A. Nicely flavored and hella good portion, Benihachi definitely delivers with their food...(not actual delivery though, you're gonna have to wait on a very long line for it at their truck.) Despite the wait though, it's more than worth it to try their amazingly good hibachi food.
Awesome plates. Did the shrimp and filet! Tender and good. Love the sauces. Generous plate that was so great! Hit the spot. Right on Hollywood Blvd! Chill crowd. But keep an eye out. The scene changed at the end!
